Dispelling the Myths about Labiaplasty

Posted: March 4, 2015

According to a recent article in the Cosmetic Surgery Times, researchers at the Australian National University were surprised to find out that there was no connection between pornography consumption and women’s desire to pursue labiaplasty procedures. This data was a result of an online survey of over one thousand women. Though this may seem surprising to some, all of us at Aguirre Specialty Care were definitely not surprised.

Our Denver labiaplasty patients have chosen the procedure due to personal reasons that include both physical and emotional factors. Most patients who seek labiaplasty are concerned that they are unable to comfortably wear exercise clothes, or have always been unhappy about the appearance of their intimate area. The techniques used when performing labiaplasty can address conditions that have resulted from a variety of factors including aging, childbirth and injury.

A labiaplasty at Aguirre Specialty Care is designed to help women feel more confident with their bodies by enhancing the structure of the vulva, labia minora, labia majora, mons pubis, perineum or introitus. This laser technology gives us the ability to accomplish the desired result for each individual woman and her unique needs.
