59 yo mother of one from Castle Rock, Colorado found Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Urogynecologist and renowned cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Oscar Aguirre on a referral from another physician due to a history of vaginal prolapse. She was greatly bothered by painful intercourse, first with initial penetration, but also during sex. Dr. Aguirre completed a pelvic examination while she observed with a handheld mirror. It was at this time that she first voiced concerns regarding the aged appearance of her vulva as well as her labial asymmetry and the discomfort of the labia being “pulled” during sex. Following the exam Dr. Aguirre discussed with her all surgical and non-surgical options. At her request, Dr. Aguirre combined medically necessary surgery with vaginal rejuvenation surgery in the form of Labiaplasty of Labia Minora and Clitoral Hood Reduction with Clitoropexy.
