My name is Dr. Oscar A. Aguirre and I am the founder and medical director of Aguirre Specialty Care—Pelvic Surgery and Intimate Aesthetics®, The Center for Female Pelvic Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery. I am originally from La Paz, Bolivia. I do, however, consider Denver home, as my family and I moved to Denver when I was just four years old.
As an Urogynecologist, I have dedicated my entire career to women’s pelvic health. I was one of the first Urogynecologists in the country to offer cosmetic gynecology, a subspecialty of gynecological medicine that has since developed some of the most popular cosmetic treatments available today. By combining my expertise in both reconstructive and cosmetic vaginal surgery, since the beginning of my career, I have become a leading expert in the field of Cosmetic Gynecology. Women travel from all over the world to have their functional and aesthetic vulvovaginal concerns addressed during one surgical procedure. As a cosmetic surgeon I can also perform Aesthetic Body Contouring procedures at the time of an Intimate Makeover®.
With the advancement of medicine and technology, I’ve become an early adopter of non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation modalities including Radiofrequency (i.e. - Pelleve and ThermiVa), CO2 (i.e. - FemiLift, MonaLisa Touch, Intima and Nd/YAG (i.e.-IntimaLase, diVa) energy sources.
I’m excited to be able to provide women these services that restore their confidence and change their lives for the better.
“I have often used the expression ‘I laughed so hard I peed my pants.’ What my friends didn’t know was that I meant this literally not figuratively. In 2000, I came to see Dr. Aguirre concerning urinary incontinence problems with heavy periods, a prolapsed uterus and a rectocele. I had painful intercourse and was very discouraged. We scheduled the Burch procedure to “tuck” the bladder back into position. Dr. Aguirre also did a pelvic reconstruction at that time. The recovery was tough… Read more »

August 3, 2012 I originally contacted Dr. Aguirre for bladder issues that had become common after child birth. I would frequently lose urine when sneezing, jumping, or running. Not only was this embarrassing, but also annoying. After my consultation with Dr Aguirre, I also admitted that I had less sensation, after having children, when having… Read more »
“My life was a disaster and stress was at the top of the list. Suffering from constant bladder leakage 24/7 was awful. Not just a few drops, but most often overflowing to the point of complete embarrassment. Even worse to my dismay – I never knew when it was coming as there was not any… Read more »
