My name is Dr. Oscar A. Aguirre and I am the founder and medical director of Aguirre Specialty Care—Pelvic Surgery and Intimate Aesthetics®, The Center for Female Pelvic Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery. I am originally from La Paz, Bolivia. I do, however, consider Denver home, as my family and I moved to Denver when I was just four years old.
As an Urogynecologist, I have dedicated my entire career to women’s pelvic health. I was one of the first Urogynecologists in the country to offer cosmetic gynecology, a subspecialty of gynecological medicine that has since developed some of the most popular cosmetic treatments available today. By combining my expertise in both reconstructive and cosmetic vaginal surgery, since the beginning of my career, I have become a leading expert in the field of Cosmetic Gynecology. Women travel from all over the world to have their functional and aesthetic vulvovaginal concerns addressed during one surgical procedure. As a cosmetic surgeon I can also perform Aesthetic Body Contouring procedures at the time of an Intimate Makeover®.
With the advancement of medicine and technology, I’ve become an early adopter of non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation modalities including Radiofrequency (i.e. - Pelleve and ThermiVa), CO2 (i.e. - FemiLift, MonaLisa Touch, Intima and Nd/YAG (i.e.-IntimaLase, diVa) energy sources.
Simultaneously, the field of regenerative medicine has evolved making Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Stem Cell Therapy available for your patients.
I’m excited to be able to provide women these services that restore their confidence and change their lives for the better.

I GOT MY CONFIDENCE BACK!! I was referred to Aguirre Specialty Care from a gynecologist after they performed a tumor removal on my right labia. When I consulted with Dr. Aguirre explained to me in detail about what he would be doing during surgery, drew pictures and introduced me to some of his staff. I… Read more »
Dear Dr. Aguirre, It was good seeing you at my recent check-up. I can’ t believe it has been 6 years since my Total Prolift and TVT sling. The surgery allowed me to continue my busy and active lifestyle; without the fear of urine leakage. I have not had any bladder problems. Everything is working… Read more »
August 3, 2012 I originally contacted Dr. Aguirre for bladder issues that had become common after child birth. I would frequently lose urine when sneezing, jumping, or running. Not only was this embarrassing, but also annoying. After my consultation with Dr Aguirre, I also admitted that I had less sensation, after having children, when having… Read more »
In 2000, I came to see Dr. Aguirre concerning urinary incontinence problems with heavy periods, a prolapsed uterus and a rectocele. I had painful intercourse and was very discouraged. We scheduled the Burch procedure to “tuck” the bladder back into position. Dr. Aguirre also did a pelvic reconstruction at that time. The recovery was tough… Read more »
I’d like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thanks to the staff at Dr. Aguirre’s office for performing the most sensitive procedures a woman can have! I initially went to see Dr. Aguirre for a cosmetic vaginal ‘spruce up’. I felt that giving birth and aging to the ripe age of 47 was changing the… Read more »
“I have often used the expression ‘I laughed so hard I peed my pants.’ What my friends didn’t know was that I meant this literally not figuratively. Ever since the birth of my children 12 yrs ago, I could not sneeze, cough, laugh hard, jump rope, bounce on a trampoline or run without ‘peeing my… Read more »

In my 40’s I was told I had urinary incontinence and needed to have surgery to place a mesh sling to help with the incontinence. Having had adverse reactions to other surgeries I was not up for that. So, I did what most women with this issue do – don’t dance, don’t laugh and make… Read more »
As a medical professional, I, like most others like me, tend to ignore symptoms I know are going to require treatment. But at 38 years old and never having had children, dealing with stress urinary incontinence (SUI), was becoming an increasingly bigger problem. It really didn’t seem fair that I was having the frustrations of… Read more »
