FAQs: Skin Tightening in Denver, CO

What is cellulite and how does VASERsmooth help?

The term cellulite refers to the dimpled appearance of the skin that some people have on areas such as the hips, thighs, and buttocks. This concern is much more common in women than in men because of differences in the way fat, muscle, and connective tissue are distributed in men and women’s skin. The lumpiness of cellulite is caused by fat deposits that push and distort the connective tissues beneath skin, leading to the characteristic changes in appearance of the skin. VASERsmooth helps treat cellulite by breaking down the structures that cause these changes in appearance.

How does VASERsmooth work?

VASERsmooth uses ultrasound technology to emulsify fat and break up the structures that cause skin to dimple. The procedure requires very small incisions to place the device beneath the skin, but downtime after the procedure is minimal.

How is VASERsmooth different from liposuction?

VASERsmooth is not liposuction, so it does not remove fat by itself. Rather, it improves skin irregularities and dimpling on the areas being treated. However, like so many of the procedures offered at Aguirre Specialty Care, VASERsmooth can be planned in conjunction with other body contouring procedures for an all-around great result for patients.

How does Morpheus8 Body work?

Using controlled RF energy and a matrix of microneedles, Morpheus8 Body heats the deep layers of the skin to rebuild collagen and stimulate cell turnover. RF microneedling is minimally invasive with minimal downtime and discomfort, helping to renew, tighten and smooth skin without surgery.

What areas of the body can Morpheus8 Body treat?

Morpheus8 Body can address skin laxity, stubborn fat and cellulite on multiple areas of the body. If you’re looking to address abdominal laxity post-pregnancy, crepey arm skin, neck wrinkles, brat fat or cellulite on your thighs, this may be an ideal treatment for you.
