22 yo from a suburb of Denver, Colorado self-referred to renowned Cosmetic Surgeon and Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Urogynecologist Dr. Oscar Aguirre of Parker, Colorado after an internet search of Labiaplasty on Real Self. She presented to the office stating “I have experienced discomfort from my vulva when wearing tight clothing or when being intimate with my partner.” She has a 10 year history of undesired cosmetic appearance of her vulva. As a teenager she was a ballet dancer and would experience chaffing with wearing form fitting clothing and is sense then experiencing pulling and dragging of her labia with intercourse. She also has concerns about orgasm as she attains climax, but feel that they should be stronger. Dr. Aguirre performed a thorough pelvic examination which revealed bilateral labial hypertrophy with hyperpigmentation as well as redundant lateral prepuce with ptosis. All history and finding were discussed in detail with patient along with her surgical and non-surgical options. Sexual and orgasm function was also discussed. Due to religious reasons the patient request not to use PRP during the procedure. Patient did move forward with scheduling recommended in-office, awake aesthetic vaginal procedure to improve the aesthetic appearance of her vulva. Dr. Aguirre performed Laser Reduction Labiaplasty of Labia Minora and Clitoral Hood Reduction with Clitoropexy. She returned to the office for her regularly scheduled postop visits, healing nicely and very pleased with the results stating she loves that her labia are “pink, small and so natural looking.”
