32 yo mother of one from Broomfield, Colorado located the office of Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Urogynecologist and Master Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Oscar A. Aguirre through a RealSelf search on Labiaplasty. She has a long history of undesired cosmetic appearance of her vulva. Since a teenager she has been unhappy with the size and color of her large, dark labia. During her consultation she recalled experiencing stress associated urinary incontinence with exercise even as a child and has experienced vaginal looseness since her one and only vaginal delivery. Dr. Aguirre performed a thorough pelvic examination with a chaperone present, which revealed bilateral labial hypertrophy with hyperpigmentation and a large ptotic prepuce. There are hymenal tags present, which are bothersome to her. All history and findings were discussed in detail with the patient along with her surgical and nonsurgical options. She is primarily interested in corrective plastic surgery of her vulva for which she is an excellent candidate. Dr. Aguirre performed in on in-office surgical setting, Laser Reduction Labiaplasty of the Labia Minora, Clitoral Hood Reduction, Clitoropexy with PRP and Excision of Hymenal Tags. Dr. Aguirre also discussed with her the options of undergoing O-Shot and Viveve procedures to improve her vaginal looseness and urinary incontinence which she will consider at a later time. She did return for her regularly scheduled postop visits with excellent results and very happy.
