26 yo woman from Lone Tree, Colorado located the office of Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Urogynecologist and Master Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Oscar Aguirre of Parker, Colorado from a Google search on Labiaplasty. She has a 10 year history of dissatisfaction related to large labia minora and excess/enlarged clitoral hood. Since she went through puberty, she has also suffered from hidradenitis suppurativa versus folliculitis. This has contributed to her being extremely self-conscious about herself. She has recently had laser hair removal with marked improvement in the folliculitis versus hidradenitis and now wants to address the large labia minora and hood. Dr. Aguirre performed a thorough pelvic examination with a chaperone present and patient observing with a handheld mirror. Exam revealed a very large ptotic prepuce, and large hyperpigmented labia minora. Her labia majora have a normal appearance as does her mons. All history and findings were discussed with the patient along with Dr. Aguirre’s recommendation for an in-office aesthetic vulvar surgery in the form of laser reduction Labiaplasty of the Labia Minora and Clitoral Hood Reduction with Clitoropexy. She was excited to proceed with the recommended procedures and scheduled for the next available appointment. She returned to the office for her regularly scheduled postop visits, very happy with her results.
