49 yo mother of three from Colorado Springs, Colorado referred by her local OBGYN to the office of master cosmetic surgeon and nationally renowned Urogynecologist Dr. Oscar A. Aguirre in Denver, Colorado. She has been bothered by excess labia for several years but within the past two years has noticed marked increase in the size of excess vulvar skin. She presented for labiaplasty consultation. Pelvic examination performed with a chaperone present is significant for labial hypertrophy with hyperpigmentation and asymmetry, right side greater than left; however, there is also severe excess perineal skin, right side greater than left and two anal skin tags. After discussing all surgical and nonsurgical options, she opted to proceed as soon as possible, with definitive surgical intervention. Dr. Aguirre performed, in an in-office surgical setting, Laser Reduction Labiaplasty of Labia Minora, Excision of Excess Perineal Skin, and Excision of Anal Skin Tags. She returned to the office for her regularly scheduled postop appointments very pleased with her results stating “it looks 100% better than it was.”
