33 yo mother of one from Arvada, Colorado located the office of nationally renowned Urogynecologist and master cosmetic surgeon Dr. Oscar Aguirre after an internet search. She has a more than one year history of obstetrical labial laceration which healed inappropriately. She describes a “difficult delivery” and shortly after, noticed disfiguration of her labia. She states the labia minora detached from her vulva which adhered to the opposite labia minora. Upon further questioning she relayed having difficulties with climax and a need to pull on her labia in order for penetration to occur. Examination by Dr. Aguirre did reveal disfiguration with the left labia minora having attached its self to the right labia minora resulting in obstruction of the introitus. After consulting with the patient and discussing all surgical and nonsurgical options, Dr. Aguirre performed, in an office surgical setting, Labiaplasty with Repair of Laceration, Clitoral Hood Reduction with Clitoropexy, O-Shot and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injection to wound in order to promote healing. She returned to the office postoperatively, very happy with her results.
