ASC Denver Announces Non-Surgical & No Downtime Options For Treating Stress Urinary Incontinence, Bladder Leakage, Overactive Bladder & Vaginal Looseness

Posted: July 16, 2014

Board-certified Denver urogynecologist and pelvic surgeon, Dr. Oscar A. Aguirre, is pleased to offer innovative options, such as at-home devices, to address a variety of intimate concerns without surgery or downtime.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) July 16, 2014 – As a board-certified urogynecologist and pelvic surgeon, as well as a preeminent expert in the field of cosmetic gynecological procedures like labiaplasty and vaginal rejuvenation, Dr. Oscar A. Aguirre is always seeking new, safe and effective ways to address his Denver patient’s intimate concerns.

His practice, Aguirre Specialty Care, is excited to announce that they will now offer a variety of innovative, non-invasive and no downtime ways to treat stress urinary incontinence, bladder leakage, overactive bladder and decreased sexual gratification as well as vaginal looseness from childbirth and aging.

Some of these new methods include at-home devices from InControl™ Medical. InTone® is a small, painless probe that delivers muscle stimulation to calm the spasms of the bladder and strengthen the pelvic floor, helping to stop bladder leakage within the privacy of one’s own home. Posing no surgery or downtime, it’s an excellent option for those seeking a urinary incontinence treatment or bladder treatment option in Denver. For certain patients, it may be an alternative to vaginal sling procedures and/or urogynecologic surgical mesh implant surgery.

For women suffering from stress urinary incontinence (bladder leakage with exertion) following childbirth, Apex™, another at-home device from InControl Medical, is the first automatic pelvic floor muscle (Kegel) exerciser. This device can put an end to the embarrassing and unexpected leakage of urine from coughing, sneezing, laughing or exercise.

Intensity™ is the world’s first intimate health and stimulation device. By delivering a pleasurable, internal rhythmic massage, this at-home device can strengthen vaginal muscle tone, correcting vaginal looseness, for stronger orgasms and enhanced sexual satisfaction for both partners. For some, it may be an alternative to laser vaginal rejuvenation or FemiLift™ laser vaginal tightening in Denver.

Rounding out Aguirre Specialty Care’s new, non-surgical options is Urgent PC®, an innovative, painless way to treat the symptoms of overactive bladder, urinary urgency, urinary frequency and urge incontinence. During this comfortable, 30-minute in-office treatment, a slim electrode is inserted into the ankle. This electrode then sends mild impulses along the leg and into the nerves of the pelvic floor, resulting in improved bladder control and function. 12 treatments, spaced 1 week apart, are recommended for optimal results.

In 2006, he formally pursued his interest in the field of Female Genital Cosmetic Surgery (FGCS) under the supervision of world-renowned gynecologist, Dr. David Matlock of Beverly Hills. Dr. Matlock is the pioneer and developer of Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation ® (LVR®) and Laser Reduction Labiaplasty.

With this additional training, Dr. Aguirre became the third urogynecologist in the country to perform these aesthetic vaginal procedures and implement them at the time of urogynecological procedures to restore anatomical pelvic floor defects. In January of 2014 he presented at the 30th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons and at the 7th World Annual Congress of the International Society of Cosmetogynecology (ISCG) attended by cosmetic and plastic surgeons from all over the world.

In May of 2011, Dr. Aguirre completed VASER® Hi Def Liposculpture training, becoming the third surgeon in Denver to offer this procedure to his patients. Dr. Aguirre is a skilled pelvic surgeon who has been providing urogynecologic care for more than 15 years and is an expert in addressing both women’s functional and aesthetic concerns. Dr. Aguirre has two extra years of training in vaginal and pelvic floor surgery compared to most other gynecologists who perform vaginal rejuvenation. Likewise, most plastic surgeons have had little, if any, vaginal surgery training. As an associate of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of America, Dr. Aguirre is trained to perform these procedures and also boasts a broad background in pelvic reconstructive surgery.
